Over the last couple of weeks staff at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS FT has experienced some incredible generosity from local businesses.
There have been too many to mention individually, but we have received donations from IKEA, DPD, KFC, Costa Coffee and Greggs.
Over the weekend the Trust also received a very generous donation of Easter eggs, nibbles, chocolates and sweets from TK MAXX that came via the Carmel Christian Centre in Denton.
Members of the public have also made generous donations, from children’s art through to biscuits and bottled water.
Chief Executive, Karen James, said, “I would like to say thank you for all of the generous donations that we have received recently, it really does help to keep the morale of our staff up at this challenging time.”
Patients or families wanting to make a donation to the Trust can contact firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone PALS on 0161 922 4466. The team will be able to give advice on what items we are currently accepting or other possible ways to donate.
Alternatively, we have created a Wish List on Amazon where people can remotely select items to be delivered to the Trust, while maintaining social distancing. These are items for our staff members who may not be able to return home during these challenging times.
We are no longer accepting perishable goods, such as pre-cooked food. We are, however, accepting bottled water, packaged food such as nuts, snacks, protein bars and dried fruit.
