Sunday 18th September at 11am.
This year’s Community Open Day at Tameside Hospital looks like it is going to be the best one yet. Following the success of the last three years, we are once again open the doors of the hospital to our local community.
We've got over 50 exhibition stands within the giant marquee at the rear of the hospital. These exhibitions range from healthy eating advice to information about heart disease and diabetes. We have a full schedule of live entertainment including: live DJ, dance troupe, local brass band, tap dancing group and even a choir.
And if all that isn’t enough, we will also be joined by our local partners including the army, police and, fire and rescue - all bringing along exciting activities for all the family.
Kids will get a FREE ice cream and a good selection of fairground rides to ride for FREE. There is also a whole range of foods to indulge yourself on, courtesy of our famous Tameside Hospital Farmers’ Market – all healthy, of course!
It’s a day not to be missed and it’s great fun for all the family, so why not pen it in your diary for Sunday 18th September at 11am.
