CQC to inspect Tameside Hospital in August
15 July 2016

In August their inspectors will be undertaking a comprehensive inspection at Tameside Hospital, which means that it will look at areas of concern identified during their inspection in April 2015 including the safe management of medicines particularly controlled drugs and the provision of training and appraisals to both nursing and medical staff.

CQC's last inspection

Tameside Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is rated as requires improvement.

You can read the report from our last inspection, which took place in April 2015.

The feedback people gave the CQC about their experiences of care from Tameside Hospital NHS Foundation Trust before the last inspection was important and helped them to decide what to look at during our inspection.

The CQC will also be at the hospital on Tuesday 19th July, at the Hartshead South Atrium.
