Tameside Hospital hosts its first ever outdoor community open day

For the first time ever, on 21st September, Tameside Hospital will be hosting an outdoor community open day – in a giant marquee.

This very special occasion will play host to over 35 exhibitors from healthcare services within the hospital as well as partner organisations, including: the police, fire service, army field hospital and many, many more. But that’s not all.

We will also have a DJ playing throughout the day, a local dance group performance, free fair-ground rides, free ice cream for the children and tea, coffee and biscuits for the grown-ups and lots more entertainment throughout the day, you’ll be sure to have a wonderful time.

The staff restaurant will be open to everyone from 11am to 3pm serving hot and cold snacks.

This will be a great day for families to see some of the great work your local hospital has been doing over the last 12 months and a chance to see what services are on offer.

Why not come along to your local hospital on 21st September and see for yourself what a difference a year makes.

The event starts at 11am and will be running through to 3pm in the afternoon. This event is being funded by the National Lottery Fund.
